Ok, so we recently added IPv6 to fireBwall, and are trying to figure out where to even start in trying to secure it for fireBwall users. When I was first looking at the protocol for IPv6 as well as NDP, which is the IPv6 equivalent of ARP, I just wanted to scream. It was like they weren't even thinking about security when designing these protocols. So I figure, in this thread, we can talk about the IPv6 specific vulnerabilities that we detect and protect against exploitation.
